Canada Goose
Context
Canada Goose’s Snow Goose Spring ’26 Adrenaline Expedition took volcano specialist Chris Horsley to Mount Yasur, Vanuatu - one of the world’s most extreme environments.
The challenge was to capture the force of nature & the raw intensity of the expedition while showcasing the performance of the product in an environment defined by heat, ash, rock and constant movement.

Strategy
With a global team travelling to volatile location for a 3 day shoot, thorough pre planning was an essential part of the strategy. Multiple meetings with Senior Brand Strategy & Marketing Directors as well as a thorough brief from agency DLX NYC.
The aim was to be an immersive, high-energy visual story that puts the viewer in the middle of the expedition. The approach combined cinematic landscapes, visceral action, POV perspectives and tactile product details, while keeping the footage natural and documentary-led.
Rather than staging traditional product moments, the aim was to show the gear being tested in real conditions - with Chris, the environment and the product driving the story.
Working with an international team in a remote, volatile environment demanded adaptability, clear communication and calm decision-making. Three days filming on an active volcano, straight after travelling from across the world to this stunning South Pacific island, pushed our teamwork, resilience and problem-solving to the limit - while keeping the creative vision firmly on track.

Execution
Captured the expedition from the journey via single engined plane to Vanuatu, followed by the ascent and preparation before descending into the active crate of Mount Yasur.
All footage was captured using handheld Sony Cameras to give an immersive documentary feel, with all sound being captured on Chris' wireless mics. The use of drone was integral in capturing the awe inspiring landscape and volcanic eruptions, and create a varied and immersive visual language.
Coverage moved between vast landscapes, fast-paced action, volcanic textures, product details and candid moments with Chris and the crew.
Alongside the hero footage, captured a 60-second talent interview and exclusive PR image, delivering the content required for the 30-second Hero Film, multiple cutdowns and supporting campaign assets.
